Pratt Institute Honors Fashion Icon Narciso Rodriguez By Brigitte Segura and Sarah Freiseis Seduced by the Fashion Icon Award honoring Narciso Rodriguez and not to mention close pal and Golden Globe-winning actress Claire Danes as presenter, we found ourselves at The Pratt 2007 graduate fashion show... Seduced by the Fashion Icon Award honoring Narciso Rodriguez and not to mention close pal and Golden Globe-winning actress Claire Danes as presenter, we found ourselves at The Pratt 2007 graduate fashion show. With support from Cotton Inc., Coach, Saks Fifth avenue, and Bloomingdales, Pratt students are getting industry exposure. And not surprisingly the people came out in droves…the entire family, with grandma in tow, sat alongside sponsors and press alike as the students showed groups in categories including: Sportswear, Childrens, Activewear, Menswear, Costume, Evening, and Bridal. With 30 grads showing and 15 awards…almost everyone came home a winner!
